Thanks for visiting. I'm a photographer, teacher and web developer in Toronto, Canada. This site contains a few portfolio projects and some bio info. I've worked primarily in corporate communications, with a few editorial assignments here and there. I have a modest exhibition history and some of those portfolios are shown here. I'm also involved in two development projects overseas and there's some information about those projects here as well.
Feel free to contact me about anything you see on this site, or about current affairs in general.
Hope you enjoy your stay.
news, & whatever

Welcome.
We're now halfway through winter. My classes at Sheridan's School of Animation Arts, & Design continue until late April as do the evening classes at George Brown College. My other projects and client work continue along, as do the QTVR experiments, many of which I've posted here.
As an experiment I've set up a blog where I can post images and whatever thoughts and announcements I feel worthy of posting. I can do this directly from a smart phone, which for me has a very high novelty factor. The trick is creating posts that are worth someone's time to look at. Here's the link:

I'm happy to report that I have now almost fully recovered from the surgery I had to undergo last autumn. It was a difficult and painful experience, but seems to be firmly in the rear view mirror now. Thanks again to everyone who helped pull me through it.
NCDF continues to work on collaborative projects with Engineers Without Borders and the Engineering for Developing Countries department at The University of Colorado at Boulder. A team is going to Nepal in March to work on a variety of projects. Their newsletter is available here.
FogQuest has a full roster of projects in operation and in development. I'm still working on a new collector with a volunteer team of engineers from GE/Zenon Water Process Technologies and FOST (Foundation for Sustainable Development) in Nepal. I'm hoping to have an operational prototype later this year.
But above all I'm happy to be able to get around and be back in my life. I was out of commision for a few months last year, and being away from my work and from my life in general was difficult and frustrating. I'm really happy to be back.
Thanks for visiting!
panoramaist
I've teamed up with the folks at torontoist to produce a regular full screen panorama feature called panoramaist. A complete directory of the torontoist features can be found here.
This link will take you to a new site containing the latest QTVR experiments.
